Mystery

Just back from a riotous couple of days in North Cork/North Kerry - more info in the next blip. It was mayhem, mystery, and unexpected encounters as always.
The mystery:
A sort of allowed trespass in an old cottage and a not totally unexpected sight.
Some intriguing offerings at the foot of the BVM at Ballyheigue holy well, And an extraordinary sight at Kerry Head where I didn't have time to clamber down the cliffs to find the holy well but did admire the bulley (the speckled stone on top of the pillar) - one of two which was originally used to activate the well. The other is in the care of a particular family and only they are allowed to use it. Fascinating. I really must give myself more time to find the well next time.
