........... pretty in pink!

This rose came with the pink gerbera that I blipped last Saturday (seems Tesco has come up trumps yet again, the flowers still look pretty good even after 8 days!!) ........

Shadow and I had another try-out for the "action" shot from 05.30 until 06.00 this morning but these all came out slightly over-exposed (and some were very blurred) so it's back to the drawing board and all your suggestions and advice. I am determined to do it!!!

Fathers Day this weekend and we have the 'out-laws' visiting for tea tonight, a drink in the local pub tomorrow and lunch out on Sunday ........... phew!!!

Many, many thanks for all the lovely comments on the little aquilegia yesterday - in case you couldn't find the grumpy little face or saw a different one to me, try going on large, look down and left from the main flower and there is a little star-like, cream piece of flower sitting in the V of the stalk and there is the little grumpy face - appears to have a little pointy hat on!!!!

It was almost a "like daughter like mother" day again today!! :-))
