Totem

Veronica, my bicycle, relaxes beside a totem pole. She had just completed a ferry crossing and snuck in to Canada without a passport. I showed mine, but she did not!

This totem is a fisherman, a bone game player and a frog -- it was created for the Commonwealth Games in New Zealand during the 1990s. A loonie sits atop the fisherman, but is not visible. The totem stands on the lawn of the legislature building.
