Dethroned and extracted
This is the temporary crown which came off the other week - (see 15 October) - hence the first part of the title. As the tooth had been root treated it was just a matter of keeping it well brushed.
Today was the visit the dentist to decide what to do. As I feared, part of the tooth had come away with the crown leaving little to affix a new one permanent crown. And there was a break in the root system.
So out the molar had to come ( no photos of that!). Once I was suitably numbed up the tooth was removed and thanks to regular medication (of the paracetamol type) I have had no ache.
As ever, let’s see what tomorrow brings,
It meant I was able to press ahead with paperwork, shopping and sorting through photos ahead of a talk in a few weeks. The constant rain outside meant it was a good day for that type of thing.
