Aftermath of a storm

Last night could be described with two words: wild weather. Thunder, lightning, and heavy rain panicked Gulliver and, as a result, kept us awake most of the night. Other than very little sleep, we didn't suffer any real damage, so we got off lightly. It wasn't anything like the tornadoes that have raked Texas and Oklahoma recently; just enough to put everyone on edge. This section of the new fence along the trail I walked this evening didn't fare too well, but that's fixable. Tonight the weather is quiet, so I'm hoping for a good night's sleep.
