A pessimistic mood? (AT435)

On a Wednesday afternoon/evening I take part in a zoom discussion on photography - yesterday a presentation on abstracts - so this is my effort on the theme. Not quite what I wanted, but we all have to start somewhere!  As the theme for Abstract Thursday is a mood - this one is probably pessimism!

Thanks to our host: Ingeborg

We were at Charlecote Park as Gill wanted to see the display of knitted/felted/crocheted pumpkins in the house kitchen (see extra)
Sadly - she had a migraine and couldn't see them properly, I don't suppose the bright sunshine helped either.

We did at least meet Technophobe so you can see what see what she made of the pumpkins in her blip.
You can also play where is the mouse hiding among them   :-)

The morning went on clearing brambles and tree 'suckers' in the semi drizzly churchyard - that was a success!

Edit: and definitely optimistic, I've put a note on the blipmeets page for Bastford Arboretum on 9th November.  Previous blipmeet images linked from here.
and - today is the anniversary of : the last natural case of smallpox being discovered in Merca district, Somalia. Considered the anniversary of the eradication of smallpox, the most spectacular success of vaccination (1977)
