Two stars in Starbucks

Lady M on the left was in my Soc class and is now in her second year of teacher training (she is a born teacher!) and J on the right - well she is an amazing girl who is lucky to be still with us. In year9/10 she had a brain tumour which was removed and she was given the all clear. Then just after sitting her A levels and while away with family in Austria, J developed meningitis and then sepsis. She was in a coma for several weeks and nearly lost both her legs to sepsis. She has been in and out of hospital since (in Austria!) and in the 7th Dec she is set to have a kidney transplant (the sepsis killed her kidneys) At the moment she is on dialysis.
J messaged me a couple of weeks ago to say she was hopefully going to be back in the UK for a few days. Today we met up for a couple of hours. She has been through sooo much and yet remains absolutely the most positive person I know.
