Mellow fruitfulness

There were no mists today, only blue skies,  but there was certainly mellow fruitfulness in our garden, at least if you are a bird.  The berries on this hawthorn and our two holly trees are looking particularly fine this year but I expect that our feathered friends (and some furry ones) will have eaten them over the next month or so. The rowan of course has died so no berries there this year sadly , just a pitiful skeleton of a tree awaiting the tree surgeons: see extras.
