Doughnuts

Whitney and I went to this popular doughnut place in downtown Portland this afternoon. We had to wait in line, and the line wasn't even as long as it usually is, apparently. I had a doughnut covered in chocolate, crumbled Oreos and peanut butter. After we'd stuffed our faces with these delights, we did some shopping in Lincoln Square.

This morning we went to Whitney's brother's graduation from the eighth grade. It was interesting as, being Scottish, I've never been to anything like that before. I thought it was lovely that they took the time to honour each student by talking about their achievements and other personal qualities in front of everyone there.
