Blickling and The Pigs.
Difficult to choose one photo today. The beautiful Blickling Hall, NT property set in wonderful grounds, but we stayed in the hall as the weather was atrocious. There was also a craft exhibition and a room set aside for memories of RAF Oulton. The library was extensive and restoration is ongoing with dedicated volunteers.
There was no let up in the weather, so we drove to Edgefield to have dinner at The Pigs which included delicious black pudding, crackling and apple sauce. The pork was melt in the mouth and so tasty.
I just loved the whole ambience of the place, quirkily decorated with a mosaic room, a white room and a games room. The loos had the most beautiful wallpaper! The games room had a shuffleboard table, pool, table football and an old gaming table with pac-man and space invaders! It was a bit of fun out of the rain for a few hours.
Popped into see mum on the way home.
