Allium Purple Sensation

I'm not sure how long allium flowers are supposed to last? Mine seem to be a bit ragged around the edges now. Not sure if that's due to the weather, my care (or lack of) or that's just how long they live?

Another shopping day today, but with the parentals and a much more refined shopping experience with them, we went to Booths. I admired all the different cheeses and meats they have... but being on a diet means I can only drool at them from afar. They do some very good stuff though. Some of the special breads are out of this world! *drools slightly at the thought*.

We then had lunch at Cranstons, always an enjoyable part of a shopping day. Again, had to resist the really scrummy food they sell, but managed to buy a couple of steak burgers for the OH.

My life is just mega rock and roll! ;)
