This heron was trying to pluck some dead leaves out of the pool (maybe he thought it was a fish) and I walked out to chase him away and he wouldn’t budge!!! Just after this shot, he flew down to the dock and then proceeded to have a home ground battle with several egrets who tried to land! King of the dock! Don’t know why they’re all hanging around here the last couple of days, but the result is: time for the power washer!!
