Climbing up the Wall
Pretty much how I felt when we discovered that the Seacroft Bar didn't serve food on a Sunday evening. Fortunately, I had made substantial sandwiches earlier in the day which I took to Gibraltar Point where we returned to find out if any more birds had settled on Tennyson Sands. They hadn't.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue had taken over the car park with their vehicles from where they were operating as a base to tackle flooding in the area. We didn't see flooding in Lincs but some areas were badly affected.
Cedric, Basil and I enjoyed our ride/walk up the path to the North car park. It felt like a taste of freedom until Len spotted us and insisted that Basil go back on a lead.
