W-I-D-E on Wednesday: Stones or Bricks

Not far from our son's house here in Toronto is a house with this boulder in the garden - inviting passers-by "Young or older, climb on the boulder and sing a song". Well neither my Editor nor I have a good singing voice so we declined the invitation, but it proved a useful subject for today's Widwed challenge (thanks to Bobsblips). I admit that there's only one stone, but there are some bricks next to it.
