Elephant

After a late wakeup we walked around the city of Catania. The elephant was a recurring topic there. The central square Piazza Duomo has the statue of the elephant carrying an obelisk (see extras) and the belief is that this combination will mitigate the wrath of the Etna beside the city. The next square has the wildly coloured one of the main blip. The espressos were delicious everywhere.
