Consolation prize fight

I lugged my huge 300mm lens down the meadow today in the hopes of getting some shots of the red kites and buzzards feeding on a carcase. I do not have the patience to be a wildlife photographer, though.
As I'd carried the lens all the way, I thought I may as well take some shots while I was there. This ewe on the left has two beaux. She must be pretty special because the meadow is full of sheep but her two would-be suitors are squaring up to fight for her favours.
