Wide Wednesday: Brick and Stone
While Tess was meeting friends for lunch, I had a relaxing morning baking the weekly bread, taking some garden waste to the recycling centre and reading the paper to the accompaniment of The Rolling Stones latest album. It’s a grower.
This afternoon we needed to re-stock the gin and wine so a trip to Aldi in Glastonbury was in order.
The old sheepskin and tannery factory buildings in the blip stand (just about!) right behind the store. Because they are listed buildings and the ground they stand on is contaminated by the chemicals used in the tanning process, they’ve slowly deteriorated while a decision is made as to what to do with them.
