Joanna and I went along to an event called "Mix and Mingle" organised by MOOL (Dumfries & Galloway Refugee Action). Different activities are organised each week - today's was acrylic art, facilitated by Edinburgh Art School. Two hours with a black canvas and tubes of bright acrylic paints.

Of course, the art was just a way to "mix and mingle" with people from different countries and cultures. We are as individual as the artworks we create and everyone has a story. A morning of pleasurable creativity and much food for thought.
