Duck Family

Didn't get rained on at all today - which is good. As we walked through the village tonight we noticed a larger than normal number of ducks on the river by the bridge. A mother and ducklings joined in later on and there was a lot of duck activity. The other ducks are very nasty to the young, and you can see why the duckling number drops so drastically and so quickly if they are so nasty to each other.

The blip is a snatched picture as the ducklings were sitting/standing on some vegetation while mum looked on. The light is a bit challenging but it's come out okay and the look cute enough on large.
