Rainy Day

Today started dark and grey, with thick fog. Then it started to rain, and never stopped.
As I walked to the supermarket in the afternoon, these wet leaves on the black tarmac caught my eye. They reminded me of the countless colourful leaves I collected every autumn as a child, to dry, press and make collages from them.

It was good to get out. This morning, I didn’t feel so great after yesterday’s procedure. I decided to take the day off and just chill. 

Thank you for wishing me well yesterday. I am okay, but the doctor’s verdict wasn’t all positive, and I will need to go back for yearly check-ups.
