sometimes the colours just zing out at you!! And that's what this bench and tree did today as we wandered along the top of the cliffs towards the Cliffs Pavilion where mum wanted to book up some theatre tickets for 2024 performances!!

A grey and drizzly morning which meant a lot of the seafront was empty for a halfterm! I remember us getting dragged out in all weathers - seems they're not so hardy nowadays!!  So tickets got booked up, then a walk back to Southend town centre where we'd parked and a quiet, dry afternoon spent catching up on chores
