Launch

A rather unusual evening - I went up to Toppings where they were having an event for the launch of Michel Faber's new book "Listen". First time we'd met in person, although we've been in email communication for several years, as one chapter includes a discussion of one of my songs.

Very interesting talk (and Q & A afterwards) - the small-ish room was packed solid with people, although most of them out of shot here. I was sitting this close in order to leap up and perform the song in question at the appropriate point.

Oh, just realised that MF's mascot, the Intrepid Blonde, is just visible behind the stool he's sitting on. She kept her thoughts to herself, as usual. And his own musical tastes are eclectic - that's a Dolly Parton t-shirt he's wearing.
