Pumpkin trail fun
Our local Forestry area - The Look Out - have a pumpkin trail on during the school holidays.
Our daughter, Caleb, Austin and myself went to see what it was all about. Paying a small fee you are given a map to follow with 10 letters to collect along the way. It’s a 2.8km walk through the woods, finding pumpkin faces with letters on them. Once you have all the letters you unscramble them to find a word. You then get a chocolate treat and the chance to enter the competition for a prize.
Good to get the boys out in the fresh air, although puddles were a bit if a distraction following the rain last night.
After some play in the park, back in the car and off to the cafe for lunch then a look around the aquarium shop and the reptile shop.
Picked up some pumpkins on the way home - tomorrows job!
