Autumnal Tints

This morning started cool and  misty but, by the time we left  for a walk on the footpath across our local golf course, the sun was quite strong and warm. 
These rather striking trees are Fraxinus angustifolia "Raywood" or  Red, narrow-leaved Ash, sometimes called Claret Ash.

This afternoon I made a visit to my Mother, who seemed content and was remarkably lucid so we had some sensible conversations! We have arranged to go out together next Sunday.
