Swallowed Up!

It's been another day filled with torrential rain for hours on end and fog to go alongside it. They must be quite good friends by now, the rain and the fog!

However, luckily, the rain weakened it's force for my fog filled stroll. It hasn't been foggy everywhere as you can see from my blip, I just caught a flash of orange as I headed out this evening...and then it was quickly swallowed up by the Queensbury fog and drizzle...and darkness!

It made me think of the work I've been doing at school with my class about the gods and goddesses of Ancient Egypt. We discovered that Ra, God of Sun, was frequently swallowed up by Nut, the God of the Sky!

If Nut could let Ra shine during the day though, that would be kind! :-P
