Covid Outbreak

My friend messaged me to say she’s come down with covid a few days ago. Then I heard today that three of the film crew who were at Chatham earlier in the week have come down with it and a further five of them on location in Norfolk.

I took a test and it’s negative. I’m hoping the booster jab I had a couple of weeks ago while volunteering for the vaccination clinic will give me some protection.

My friend feels like she has the flu and is feeling miserable and her hubby is “hardly Florence Nightingale” so I dropped off a care package earlier. The goody bag included innocent orange carrot and ginger juice, immunity tea bags, a bunch of freesias and roses, the Waitrose magazine, throat sweets and some grapes. It cheered her up so mission accomplished.
