Sand on the Prom

Storm Babet brought the beach to the Prom in several stretches. No doubt it will be cleared away at some point. On the way to football - first game in three weeks after missing the last couple. Six-a-side and we all seemed to struggle to put away our chances early on. Finally got a goal, scored against J, the best keeper in our games. Managed to get it past him into the far corner which was very satisfying. Finding a bit more space as everyone tired I scored another (although J wasn't in goal by that point) before completing the hat-trick with the best I've scored in a while. Nutmegged a defender and then curled it inside the far post. The guy I nutmegged even commended me on it at the end of the game as we won by two. It seems there is still some footballing life in this sixty-year-old!
