Rhodo Dell

This afternoon our Tuesday afternoon photography group went out to Geraldine, to walk the rhododendron dell.
Called the riverside walk, and located right in the heart of Geraldine, it winds its way along the Waihi River taking in Rhododendron Dell.  There are hundred of rhodos, azalias with canopys of magnificent trees.  A sight to behold.  It is some years since we have walked the Dell, and over the years it has developed and grown.  
I wasn't going to do much photography, famous last words, 90 images later !!
We then went for coffee and cake at the infamous Barkers Cafe where we showed our last two week challenge of chimneys.
I am going to tag for Tiny Tuesday, but not the optional theme.....and why am I tagging it, well because I noticed a wee helicopter bug/fly coming in to check out what the rhodo has to offer.

A great afternoon, even had time for some retail therapy as well.
