Nobby the pigeon scarer

This is Nobby the Harris hawk. He works three hours a day in the same building as me, and his job is to scare pigeons away. His trainer reared him from when he was a chick, and now he and Nobby are business partners.

Nobby sat for a few minutes on my (gauntlet-clad) wrist. He seemed to weigh very little, and was unfazed by all the attention he was getting.
