A pair of pears

A dry start to the day as I headed out for a sprint cycle class.  After this I headed for a local supermarket and returned home for breakfast.  The it was time on the computer and other home chores.

Late afternoon I looked at the mono monday themes and found it was pared, pair or pears and realised that I could use these rather old pears from a tree in the garden.  It produced quite a few pears for a small tree but hardly any of them ripened, they just became rather wrinkled as is the case here.

Can't say that I am really enjoying the fermented foods I am trying, other than yoghurt.  Still I will persist for a bit or maybe not if I get fed up of them.
