Crab Apples ( Malus ? Golden Hornet )

A better day from the weather point of view.  Kat suggested we have a run out to Pentland Plants, knowing both she and us enjoy wandering round garden centres.  This also gave us some easy blip opportunities.  I am impressed by the way modern plant breeding has produced varieties of Malus which are almost fastigiate and yet covered thickly with fruit.

After the Pentland Plants we headed off for lunch at the Secret Herb Garden which now seems to be morphing into the Secret Garden Gin Distillery.
