For the family

By RonaMac

Hello gorgeous!

After a very good night sleep, we headed over to Ashbourne in Derbyshire for B to have his Covid jab.

A first visit to the town but we didn’t see much of it. I had found details of a picture framer and planned to take the fallen jaguar and another aircraft to him. The decision to ring the shop to check that they were open was sensible, as I found that I was talking to someone in Sheffield. No they weren’t open, not until Wednesday. So we will have to go back.

We only stayed for the ten minutes or so that it took to get the jab, then headed home via Rocester, so as to visit Denstone Hall Farm Shop and Cafe. We’ve visited once before with R, shortly after we move here and was very impressed. I don’t remember meeting the cows, but number 400805 was very sociable today.

We enjoyed coffee and scones and discovered that they have an outdoor eating area where they allow dogs. The plan is to go over to Ashbourne to take the pictures to the framer later in the week and take Amber with us.

Home for B to continue working on the electrics in the garage and for me to plant more bulbs and tidy up pots. A very successful day.
