What a gem. He took the trouble to come and visit us in Bournemouth. First collected a friend from Gatwick, took to Brighton then the ghastly route from there to us. So many congested roundabouts with him just spending 2 hours with us before dashing off to Hampshire. We sure did relate stories from our youth to son and grandchildren. Some family are cherished and he is one special fun guy.
