L.S.Lowry

A lazy Blip today as I have a busy afternoon ahead. Last night, eldest snapped a few pictures with her phone camera which performs better in the dark than mine does.

For fellow Blipper @JamCam, a pic of a statue of the artist, L.S.Lowry, seated on a bench at the main crossroads in Mottram, approx 11 miles to the east of Manchester.

He is depicted sat with sketchbook in hand, just around the corner from The Elms, his home from 1948 until 1976.
