Spring in Pollard Park….

Maisie and I did a detour during our early morning walk. We visited Pollard Park and headed for a special spot, Rhododendron Dell. There are many deciduous azaleas growing there. Most of the “Ilam” variety. Clear colours and lightly fragranced. We spent quite a while there. I had Maisie on her lead in the park. Just as well because there were lots of ducks waddling around on the land. Maisie was sorely tempted to chase them. A fine sunny spring day and a Public Holiday. Labour Day commemorating the start of the eight hour working day many years ago.
