How it all began. There was a talk and slide show, followed by a film about how our rowing club started and about the birth of the St Ayles Skiff community. It started in Fife and expanded through Scotland - now there are St Ayles Skiff in New Zealand, Tasmania, Australia, the US, Canada. These boats are built by the community for a kit and according to a patented design. Our boat was the 4th boat constructed and Ali who was presenting the slides was there right from the beginning. Here she is holding the model of the prototype boat.
