Afternoon walk

A bright day today and fairly warm in the sunshine. A lazy, book reading morning but a walk with Dad and Bailey this afternoon. We did the loop going down the bridleway and back up alongside the road. Bailey walked just over halfway and then went into his pack for the last bit as evidenced by our combined shadow in the extra. These seed heads were alongside the drop down into the quarry. I avoided several trashed shopping trolleys that are down there. 
More reading (currently on page 442 of the latest Strike novel) and a bit of a lie down this afternoon. It'll be another early night but a good walk and some sunshine was welcome this afternoon.
