Cafe life and sunshine returned to Rennes today. Everything appeared so much brighter. It is a city where 1 in 5 people are students, so there is a lot of street life and people to watch! Our tour guide was our granddaughter who is studying architecture here! There are superb botanical gardens, wide open squares and lots of street cafes. The Parliament building for Brittany is in Rennes. An impressive city.
