Fiddling about

Spent a couple of hours walking around the property with the 4G router directional aerial on a pole trying different directions and heights. 
I want to see where I can get the strongest broadband speeds and will then fix it there. The landline broadband is OK but the upload speed is a whopping 200kbps so not really good enough for video calls and uploading photos.
In the end, managed to peak at about 60/40Mbps up/down so there is hope, but still nothing like what them city folk get.
