Go Large!

About midday we arrived at the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal at Gilwern (Monmouthshire, South Wales UK) to do a cycle ride with our friends and neighbours to Tal-y-Bont on Usk.  It was pleasant weather when we started but half way to Tal-y-Bont is rained so by the time we did the 12.5 miles there to the cafe, we were soaked!

We had an enjoyable hour there before the return journey by which time the sun had returned. The blipfoto shows Mrs BB and friend Jane looking at the gigantic  Redwood Cedar on the canal at LLangattock, Crickhowell (Powys, Mid Wales).

By the time we'd got back to the car our bikes and us were covered in mud so good job we didn't head up the Forest of Dean tracks!

We're going to enjoy a night in watching the Beckham documentary which is very highly recommended even for people who are not soccer fans.
