A Joy to be Alive

, safe, and free to live my life on a day like this.

Wall to wall sunshine, and felt like the calm after the storm. We had a really lovely walk at Kincraig Point at Elie/Earlsferry this morning.
We met several other walkers enjoying the views and calmness.
This is a fishing community with lots of creel fishermen. I heard today that they estimate a quarter of a million pounds worth of damage was done by the storm to their equipment. Mostly creels, which are expensive, ripped from the seabed, most will turn up damaged and useless on beaches around the coast. One boat owner alone thinks he’s lost around £40,000. So tough when your business and livelihood is dependent on Mother Nature.
