Our leeks bolted!

From potential prize-winners to a 'bunch o'flars' in half a week!

Apparently, it happens. Nobody did a bad thing.

And they still taste good. After removing the flower stalks we made a years supply of leek and potato soup. We had a very tasty frittata.

Now we will see if they actually flower?
