Elegant

We had a walk down to the lake this afternoon, first time in yonks.

I nearly got a nice pic of a grey wagtail but I had the focus point in the wrong place so what I got was a nice pic of some branches with a blurry shape on top. Then I nearly got a nice pic of a grey heron in flight, but although I had the right lens it was locked so I missed it.

The swan was more obliging though, offering all sorts of poses for me. This one was the most elegant.

I put my heavy coat on when we left the house thinking it was quite chilly out. Boy was I hot!
