0km lunch
We were up early to cook for the 0km lunch that the English Speaking Church were hosting this afternoon. We went to the service which was good, lovely to see people. Then lunch afterwards where people had brought food and drink that was from only island products! One woman had made a huge soup you had to guess the ingredients to to win a hamper of local goodies - and we won! So so delighted as there's a bottle of homemade hierbas in there that Toni made. He's the older guy in my main blip. A local guy from generations back, and his hierbas is well-known for being amazing. He forages the various plants and herbs locally.
Home and Asha was off out to go see a friend and Danny and Nate have gone to the football to watch CD Ibiza play.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) The ES Church being so welcoming, and so multicultural.
2) Nate being super happy to see his friend Mary-Jayne who is back here on holiday and was at church this morning.
3) Asha and her friend sorting out a tiff.
