Babet Continues!

The gales continue and cause significant pruning to the trees which surround us in The Policies. 

The grass and paths are covered in a sodden twigs branches and sodden leaves The ground is sodden and in some areas rather large puddles.

The other ‘delight’ is announced and unannounced electricity cuts. No heating. No equipment works. No electrical connection works..

The roads are flooded. Rail services are cut. We are in our home which is rapidly cooling.

The forecast is for the winds to ease and the rain to stop.

The news is that other areas are also stricken and in a far worse state than we are.

One small compensation. SP Network call frequently, making sure we are well. We are on the list of Vulnerable People.
