Spindle Berries
A late morning walk in my neighbourhood in a crisp autumn air, blue sky and generous sunshine. Sheer joy!
I just love Spindle Berries and was thrilled to see the bright orange berries popping out of their pink flower -like encasement. They look so lovely in the autumn.
"A small woodland and hedgerow tree, Spindle is most striking in the autumn when clusters of bright pink and orange berries hang from its twigs, providing food for mice, birds and even Red Foxes."
Quote of the day:
"Change is inevitable - whether we resist it or embrace it."
Extra:
An imperfect photo of part of an oak tree, with leaves changing colour and our gorgeous blue sky today.
