Autumn colours at last
Autumn in the Lakes seems to be a long time coming, but there's a group of four Sycamores near the Theatre by the Lake that always change earlier than others, and put on a fabulous display. So often, I miss them, or high winds have stripped the leaves off. Today I walked down there, and spent a good hour photographing leaves from so many angles. This was by far my favourite image - I really liked the small cluster of seeds surrounded by the almost abstract feel of the yellow leaves.
