Otematata

We drove 90 minutes to Otematata this morning to play golf with friends from Dunedin who were staying there for the long weekend. (It’s Labour Weekend in New Zealand).
After an enjoyable game, we had lunch and then walked in the super wetland area near the camping ground. It was good to see people in their boats paddling in this wee river that goes into Lake Benmore…it almost seemed like summer!
