HEY! IT'S SPIDEY!

The Champ Cars are at Road America this weekend....cold and rainy.  But there was a lull in the rainy weather for a couple of hours after lunch.  And that was a good thing.

Along with the Champ Cars (formerly Chump Cars) it was Track & Treat day at Road America.  Lots of people, mostly ShareHolders, in complete costume,  show up with car trunks full of Halloween candy for the little ones......like 1,500 of them.  Here Spidey is making a grab for some of the goodies.

There was also a Halloween movie for the kids, an old fashioned hay ride, track tours and plenty of hot apple cider for everyone.  And the rains came again just as the festivities were winding down.  Didn't bother the enduro racers at all...they just kept on truckin'.

In case you think I was neglecting my duty, I made over 500 on-track shots of the Champ Cars earlier in the day.  I'll go again Sunday.....weather should be better and I'll be able to showcase some racing along with the fall color spectacle now in peak form.
