It's not warm while she's away

Admittedly it took a little while to.get out of.bed this morning. And then there was the time taken to prepare for the heat 

It's around 37 degrees right now. Overpowering 

We run from air con room to air con hall to air con Uber to air con mall. And I say 'run' figuratively 

We went to Place Vendome today.   It was lush.  White marble. Freezing cold. And when we went to watch the dancing fountains.... We realised.that there was a pleasant breeze. So we sat in Eataly drank cold cappuccinos and eat tiramisu.

We watched the dancing fountains while I'm recovered from a scary emergency visit to the toilet.  

Then we browsed the shops and laughed at exactly the same things in M&S in Doha. As there was in silver burn last week 

It's very strange wandering around in a Mall where all the women are enclosed in Burkhas and then men are in Throbes....  I'm watching the women go in to Hermes. Louis Vuitton, m&S pick up the bright dresses and make up; just like me   and I wonder do they wear them at home?  

I'm also intrigued by the call to prayer ; it quite quite beautiful  but I can't help but wonder why everything doesn't come to a standstill.

And then there is the head hear. White ones: red ones. Black and white ones   we tried to work out if there was some symbolism but we think it.is.probably personal preference 

The day ended in Villagio. Which is a mall which is inside out.  Sky is blue and white fluffy clouds and the air.con is cool.   

We.visited the Butcher Shop for dinner and it was lush.  We were unable to.move again 

Fillet steak; onions; corn. Virgin cocktails and coffee. 

Oh heavens it was lush
